The violin rewards consistent, daily effort more than most instruments. We suggest starting with short daily sessions of around 15 to 20 minutes, with longer sessions as you become more experienced. Your teacher will guide you on what to practise between lessons.

Beginner violin can be a test of neighbourly patience, but there are solutions! Practising during reasonable hours is courteous and usually sufficient. A practice mute is a small, affordable accessory that reduces volume significantly.
