Individual Instruction

Every violin lesson is one-on-one, giving you focused time with your teacher to address your specific needs. Your teacher can fine-tune your posture, bowing, and pitch accuracy on the spot.

Strong Foundations

We focus on proper technique, posture, and musicianship from day one. Getting the foundations right from the start means fewer problems later and creates players with the skills to tackle any repertoire.

Performance Ready

Through our band workshops and annual concert, violin students gain the chance to share their music with a live audience and learn to collaborate musically with other instrumentalists. It's where your playing truly comes alive.

Violin Styles We Teach

CLASSICAL & CONTEMPORARY

We cover all violin styles — from classical through to folk, Celtic, bluegrass, jazz, and contemporary. We tailor your repertoire and technique work to your musical interests. We also offer ensemble opportunities through our workshop program.

Classical Violin

Master the rich classical repertoire from Baroque through modern composers. Learn proper classical technique, interpretation, and performance practice. Perfect for students pursuing AMEB examinations, orchestral playing, or chamber music.

Contemporary Styles

Explore violin in folk, Celtic, bluegrass, jazz, rock, and contemporary settings. Learn improvisation, playing by ear, and how to adapt violin to modern musical contexts.

Ensemble Playing

Through our workshops, violin students learn to play with other instruments, developing the listening skills and blend needed for chamber music, orchestras, and contemporary ensembles.

Whether your goal is classical mastery or contemporary exploration, we provide the technical foundation to play any style.
