Starting with classical fundamentals gives you the best technical base. Classical training develops the posture, bowing, and intonation skills that transfer to every genre. Once the foundations are strong, any genre is open to you.

Your violin and bow are all you need for your first lesson. We're happy to help you find the right violin before your first lesson. A shoulder rest and tuner are useful additions, but not essential from day one.
