How quickly you learn songs depends on the music and your practice habits, but simplified versions of popular songs are achievable within weeks. Regular practice between lessons accelerates your progress significantly.

For beginners, 61 keys is sufficient to start. However, as you progress, you'll want a full 88-key piano. Starting with 88 keys means you won't need to upgrade later.

Ideally both! A classical grounding makes everything else easier, while modern repertoire keeps you motivated and engaged. Our lessons balance both approaches. You get the best of both worlds.

Of course! Many of our adult students progress faster than they expected. It's never too late — our oldest piano student is in their 90s! Our teachers understand adult learning needs and adapt accordingly.

Many of our piano students pursue accredited qualifications. We prepare students for AMEB, Rockschool, and ANZCA at all grades. We can guide you through the entire examination journey.
