Most of our students can start playing recognisable songs within weeks. With steady practice between lessons, you'll see real improvement week by week. Some simpler songs can be learned even sooner.

61 keys will work for your first few months, but 88 weighted keys is the gold standard for piano students. Make sure whatever you get has weighted, hammer-action keys.

Absolutely! Adults often have stronger focus and self-discipline. It's never too late — our oldest piano student is in their 90s! We create a comfortable, judgement-free environment for adult learners.

Many of our piano students pursue accredited qualifications. We offer structured preparation across AMEB, Rockschool, and ANZCA at all grades. Diploma pathways are also available for advanced students.

No matter what genre inspires you, our teachers have the skills. We cover classical, contemporary, jazz, blues, pop, rock, gospel, film scores, and more. We shape your learning around your musical interests.

We recommend at least 15 to 30 minutes of daily practice. Regular short sessions beat occasional marathon sessions every time. Your teacher will guide you on what to practise between lessons.
